Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions announces the sixth annual Bayada Award for Technological Innovation in Nursing Education and Practice.
Two $5,000 cash awards will be presented: one to a nursing educator whose innovation leads to improved student clinical competency or efficiency of curriculum delivery, and one to a practicing nurse whose innovation leads to improved patient care.

Subject: Dragons Advance to NCAA Tournament!!!
Your Drexel Dragons continued their historic run through the CAA Tournament with a championship game win over James Madison last night on JMU's home court! The ladies captured Drexel's first ever CAA title in any sport, and are the first team (men's or women's) from the north to EVER win a CAA basketball title!
There will be a 4:30pm pep rally in the Main Building to celebrate this huge win, followed by a NCAA tournament selection show watch party with the team at 6:00pm at Mikey's Grille across from the Main Building with free food. All are welcome to attend!

Join fellow Dragon basketball fans, alumni, and DAC Pack members for our championship brunch reception prior to Drexel's CAA Championship Game match-up versus James Madison University. The brunch will begin at 1pm at Cally's Restaurant & Brewing Company – Drexel’s Alumni & Dragon Fan Headquarters.
The Drexel Dragons will play the James Madison Dukes at 3:30pm on Sunday, March 15th in the CAA Championship Game! Join alumni, DAC Pack members and fans for a pre-game brunch reception at Cally's beginning at 1:00 p.m. for a pep rally and celebration of spirit and pride!

Subject: Basketball Championship Game Update: Get on the bus Sunday FOR FREE!
Hazem Maragah has graciously just paid for a bus to come down to Virginia tomorrow for more people to witness the CAA Women's Basketball Championship which will feature the Dragons vs. James Madison. The tournament is held at JMU, so they will have a big fan-base, and we are looking for you to help the DAC Pack support the girls.
THE DETAILS!
-The trip is 100% free. Please be at the DAC at 8:00 tomorrow (Sunday morning). The bus leaves at 8:30. First come, first served for seating.
-Before the game, the Drexel University Alumni Association and Office of Alumni Relations will be sponsoring a FREE breakfast for all attendees. We just had a champagne toast at the restaurant and the food is top notch.
-You do not need to sign up for any lists to get on the bus... just show up at the DAC at 8:00 with your Drexel gear. We have rollouts ready, and body paint for anybody that wants it.

The Alumni Association is accepting nominations for its 2009 Alumni Awards. Each year the Drexel University Alumni Board of Governors recognizes alumni for outstanding achievements in their professions, in the community and within the university.
We encourage all members of the alumni and university community to participate in the awards process by sharing the achievements of fellow alumni, colleagues, and friends with the committee for nomination.

Buses will depart from and return to Drexel’s “F” Lot, located at 31st and Ludlow Streets
TRIP PACKAGES:
(1) Package with No Rental Equipment - $110 per person
(2) Package with Ski Rental - $127 per person
(3) Package with Snowboard Rental - $133 per person
The packages include parking in the Drexel’s “F” Lot, coach bus transportation, snacks and beverages while traveling, an extended lift ticket (guests can ski the entire time they are at the mountain), a ski or snowboard rental (optional), a beginner’s lesson, and an alumni dinner party.
The alumni dinner party at the Sno Grille Restaurant will begin at 6 p.m., and will include one hour of hors d’oeuvres followed by a dinner buffet and dessert.
