La Salle University Art Museum We are in the middle of our paintings conservation assessment, which is being funded with grant support by IMLS. One exciting revelation is that we have a 17th century painting (A Nun in Prayer by Circle of Philippe de Champaigne) that has never been relined! It is rare to find a work of that age that has been relatively untouched.
