Mark Noble, the director of the University of Rochester Stem Cell and Regenerative medicine institute discusses how stem cell researchers balance ethics with necessity for scientific and medical discovery. We rarely hear how the scientific work behind stem cell research is affected by both bioethics conversations and desperate patient in need of novel treatments.
