Wholesale changes this year in Pennsylvania’s annual heating-aid program seem designed to make every needy homeowner and utility stakeholder hot under the collar.

On August 25, 2009, UESF presented testimony to the Department of Public Welfare for the State of Pennsylvania regarding the State Plan for LIHEAP FY2010. There are significant changes proposed to the program providing energy assistance to many low-income families in Philadelphia and throughout Pennsylvania.

On April 25, UESF took part in the Ogontz Avenue Revitalization Corporation (OARC)’s Energy Saving Block Party.
