@ JW - True! Gift giving should not have a "season". I appreciate your thoughts on motive - and I believe similarly. However, from a business perspective, a major public shift toward this kind of thinking would totally skew the way retailers/economists/marketers view and use their data and try to appeal to consumers in general...

The pendant is made of carved vintage ivory (estimate between 35-45 years old) and is accented with grade B., beveled peridot pear-shaped gems.
