Ethan Rauch To me the light rail is surprisingly fast, considering that most of it is on-street. I know one of the traffic engineers who designed the signal system along the route. They did a great job.

My only issues are: Route maps should be posted above EACH door. Should be extended to other parts of city. Should goto 2am. I was a big skeptic, but I am totally pleased with the results. And construction finished on time. I watched a remodel of the L station on Howard in Chicago take twice as long than the entire li...ght-rail construction. Would it be better if it was free? was a subway? had wings and flew between it's destinations? Yes.Read More

Dean If you ride the light rail on the weekends expect people coughing like they have the Ebola virus.

Light-rail contractor sues Metro for $19 million, Lawsuit alleges that Metro rail failed to properly disclose where the utilities were before crews dug in the streets.

this is the first photo taken of this jackass after driving his car the wrong way on the lightrail tracks... from roosevelt to the bridge by the library, where the tracks are exposed.he bounced bak and forth in the concrete enclosed tracks at the roosevelt station. ...

Alex Ozers first friday incident, dumb ass drives wrong way on tracks... wait, isn't an direction the wrong way if you're in a car?

Eric Russell I thought light rail was going to have 3 cars on dbacks home games. Becuase I took it from ASU Saturday and it only had two and it so packed that I barely got in and at other stations, people didn't even try to get in. It was dangerous because if someone lost their footing or if the driver slammed on the brakes, people could of gotten injured.

Victoria Perkins Using the light rail in Tempe is great, we take a orbit bus (free) that stops right outside our house to the light rail station and take it to downtown Phoenix, for the stuff going on there. It's almost always to capacity on the weekends, I guess that's a good sign.

Price hikes are a go. The ASU U-Pass is no longer free. Well I guess 5 years of sales tax and tuition hikes aren't enough to subsidize it anymore. I think $3.50 a pop would be too much for a roller coaster, much less for a lift down the block. I've been a huge supporter of the light rail since they were having foc...us groups about it in 2001, but this situation is starting to look blatantly lame. I say boycott-bring a jar full of retail receipts as proof of fare and refuse to accept citations until prices aren't set arbitrarily . http://www.asu.edu/parking/pdf/news/2009 -06_PTS-News.pdfRead More

Josh All of the comments below seem to be negative. Is there anything good about Phoenix Light Rail?
