Phoenix Rescue Mission Great day hanging out with Mountain Valley Church of Scottsdale. Their youth group donated & packed food, then spent time learning about poverty with our Church Coordinator, Gail at our Family Outreach Center. They're coming back tomorrow to do some real work at the Mission Campus ;)

To answer your question, Cash donations always help us to make up for the short fall of donated goods & to help us to provide services...
But we can use all of the things you mentioned for our Heat Relief Packs. We appreciate your gifts either way, it really depends on how you'd like to give. If you decide to drop off items you can leave them at our Family Outreach Center:

People don't think about what it would be like to have no shoes & walk all day on scorching pavement or even just having no where to come in ... Read Moreout of the sun. Also our summer is so long - April through end of September can reach past 100 degrees. Sounds like you get the 'best' of both seasons there in Boise! Do you have cooling stations there?
