Jean-Pierre Lavoie's friends in Montreal sort of scratched their têtes when he told them he was taking a whirlwind trip to Detroit. It didn't help much when he explained why. Lavoie took panoramic pictures -- sweeping, 360-degree views of places like the old Packard and Fisher Body factories.
