The Huron Area Writers Group will be holding an organizational meeting to gauge the interest level and support for a writing club. Once established, we will continue to meet on the third Thursday of each month. The meetings and club are open to all writers at all levels. Any residents who have an interest in or a love ...for writing are welcome.
The organizational meeting will set the direction of the group. Dennis Collins and Dave Vizard are the organizers and the key contact people for the meetings.

Pigeon District Library Tonight at 7:00 the Huron Area Writers Group will meet in the community room for an organizational meeting to determine interest in starting an association. The meetings and club are open to all writers at all levels and area residents that are interested in or have a love for writing. See you there!

Pigeon District Library Just a reminder, library hours will change at the beginning of November. Starting on November 3rd, The library will be open until 6:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Using coupons at the store can save you money! You are invited to attend one or all of the free classes on “couponing” which will be led by Carissa Alexander. The classes will be held the first three Tuesdays in November from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM in the library’s Community Room.
Week 1 (Nov. 3) will introduce you to coupon...s – understanding coupons, where to find them, how to organize them, store policies, using coupons, and planning with coupons. Week 2 (Nov. 10) will cover unit prices and stockpiling – the purpose of stockpiling and understanding unit prices.
Week 3 (Nov. 17) will cover rebates.
