Ping! Just posted new info on the latest Ping! version (1.2) in Notes. Please follow the link for more details.
Some good and bad news -- Bad news is Ping! 1.2 has been rejected by Apple on Nov 14 due to a software library we used, developed by the Facebook company. This library is used by many apps including Ping! and the iPhone Facebook app itself...

Ping! The upgrade is complete, everything should be functioning now as of 8am EST. The new features will be accessible with version 1.3 which includes the ability to send many different media types. Apple is taking a while to approve updates, unfortunately there's not much we can do.
