Carnivore Preservation Trust Help Nitro, our blind tiger! Carolina Tiger hopes to move Nitro and Apache to a larger habitat, and has volunteers this weekend to do the work, but needs to raise the funds for drainage improvements so Nitro won't slip in the mud, and for sand for the paths around the perimeter to keep him from walking into the fence.

Carnivore Preservation Trust Elvis on Tour! and so is Jellybean! Elvis, the serval left in the staff parking lot this spring, has been moved to the tour route and Jellybean has moved to the neighboring enclosure, giving Tex more privacy. In other animal moves, the kinks have returned to their winter home- so will not be on tour again until the spring.

How are Jelly and Tex taking being separated. They used to pine for each other on weekends when shifted for tours.

Tex and Jellybean still live in the same enclosure, they've just moved next door (Connor's former enclosure). We can shift Tex into the back as we did before Apache and Nitro arrived.

Beth Capps Just found you through your annoucement of the name change. I like everything I have read. You follow my own beliefs very closely concerning captive breeding. I have been a supporter of Big Cat Rescue for many years. So happy to find you too.

Mandy, Yes! We will also continue to rescue other animals than tigers. The only major difference is that hopefully now when we say our name the first reaction isn't "what?" "what does that mean?" or some other variation.
