Has the Republican Party abandoned all use of punctuation and capital letters? It's a slippery slope. Once you abandon logic and reason, grammar is the next to go.

Our jury system helps determine that. Something has to be done about high rate of juvenile crime, since it seems pro-active parenting seems to be taking a nose dive in some cases. Nothing good has come from removing God.

Unemployment is expected to hit 10% soon... I never thought for one minute this administration's plan was going to do anything to help the economy but rather it would cause further harm to the economy - it appears I was correct with my assumption (err - uneducated guess)!

President Obama himself said it would take time to recover from this poor economy. He said things would get worse before they would get better. There will continue to be people who lose there jobs and people who lose their homes, and that is unfortunate. But I believe things are starting to turn around ever so slightly and hopefully we will begin our way back to economic growth.

Civic Science Do you think the inclusion of a public option in the Senate's Health Care Bill will help or hurt it chances of passing? http://www.civicscience.com

Valerie, why are we struggling with this? Governments do healthcare more effectively than private insurers...across the globe. That's not even debatable. Why would you trust a for-profit company more than your own gov't? Private insurance companies have no reason to exist. They offer no value to the health supply chain, except to themselves. ... See MoreYour visceral aversion to gov't may be rooted in ideology more than fact. Good gov't is a normal thing in other countries. People live free, get good health care, go about their lives... no big deal. Is there an unexamined ideological assumption behind your position?

According to whom? England's and Canada's systems are going broke. One of the English Parliament was here and stated exactly that and doesn't want to see us move in this direction.
Also, what gov't run program can you name that operates in the black and is efficient? We are a capitalistic society and so yes, there is some ideological aversion ... ... See MoreRead Moreto this but more than that it is based on the fact that Medicare is going to be bankrupt by 2017, SS will not be able to pay out when I will be eligible, the Postal Service is going broke, Amtrack has been losing money almost since it's inception. Need I continue? We are not a government owned or government run nation. Health insurance and care should be payed for, decided by and run by the private sector.
What countries can you name that have "good gov't'?? that runs everything? Quit drinking the koolaid, Dean or you're going to end up with a country that is very different than the one you've been raised in.
It isn't up to our gov't to save us from every thing that doesn't work right in our lives. Leave it to the people,we usually come up with the answers.
Not to worry though, Dean, I'll keep fighting to maintain our capitalistic society and defend our rights under our Constitution of the United States.
