Golden sunrays welcomed dozens of East End families to the Union Project on a brisk Spring Morning Saturday for the first (and certain to become) annual Easter Egg Hunt. Inside the cafe, pastel colored bunny milk and delicious $4 omlettes filled up hungry tummies while kids custom made their own bunny ears. Outside fam...ilies gathered along stone steps to dye eggs and read animal themed stories. Of course the main event took place at 11:15 when over 30 children took to the lawn as part of the East Egg Hunt. And as far as we can tell, all eggs were found and not one flower was trampled in the process! :)
Thanks to the Eat UP cafe staff, UP interns, and jumpstart volunteers who made this memorable day possible!
