The White House and Congress have set an aggressive timeline to address health care reform this summer. As the nation’s most trusted reproductive health care organization and an essential community provider, Planned Parenthood needs to be included in any health care legislation. We need your help to ensure that our hea...lth care centers and services are included in the final health care reform plan.
Goals:
- Ensure that reproductive health care is included in the final health care reform package.
- Ensure that essential community providers like Planned Parenthood are included in health plan networks so clients can access care from trusted providers in their communities.
What can you do?
PPNEO will be engaged in many activities in conjunction with this campaign, including hosting summer phone banks, inviting targeted legislative decision-makers who are on key committees to tour health centers, and forming a rapid-response team of advocates who can write letters to the editor or call legislative targets as the need arises.
Right now, we need your help with Phone Banking! We will be calling people who have been pre-identified as pro-choice because of their responses to a previous phone survey or they signed a petition in the past.

Now we need your time and energy!
Volunteer one of our Northeast Ohio phone banks and help us gain support for a petition so we can get a hearing for the Ohio Prevention First Act.
