Celebrating a woman’s body has always been a controversial thought. However, many would like to think that our world is becoming increasingly open to the human form in all of its glory, including a woman’s pregnant body. Un...

There is no question that the health care system in our country needs reform, and needs it sooner rather than later. But health care reform that comes at the cost of women’s health is too high a price to pay.

Lots of blog chatter about a short film directed by Gillian Robespierre, called Obvious Child. It captures the essence of Juno and Knocked Up but does what neither of them could: presents a meaningful representation of abortion.A touch of unbelievable romantic comedy? Yes...

How can this be legal? As someone already mentioned, most of the information that is recorded could be used to identify the woman in question. The only thing that they seem to leave out is her name and street address, but that is easily overcome by anyone that tries hard enough to identify the patient. And we all know that there are some people in... Read More the opposition that can and will do whatever they feel would benefit their agenda at the time.

If this law goes into effect what else will governments try to collate in public forums? What will be the next part of our private lives that can be recorded with the promise "But we won't use your name"?

So, a new policy at Tufts University regulates sex in dorms, which actually (to me) seems fair enough:"The Office of Residential Life and Learning (ResLife) has added a new stipulation to its guest policy that prohibits any sex act in a dorm room while one's roommate is present...

I disagree. I think that they should simply include some training during orientation: how to communicate about this issue. I'm very wary about any organization regulating anything about my sex life. Rather than have some higher power impose on my life and dictate what I can and cannot do, I would rather the higher power give suggestions and helpful... Read More assistance to help me craft my own ways of coping with the situation. It's something everyone goes through, and drunken roommates who hook up with random people aren't going to care whether there's a rule against it or not. It isn't going to be a deterrent; it's just going to lead to invasion of privacy and further control over an aspect of our life that should be ours alone.

I like it. As someone who has been both kicked out of my room for sex and had sex in my room, it all makes sense and seems to follow respect, fairness and dignity. Here's my question: What if the roommates have sex with each other?
