Blair is awful. Not in the way you’re probably thinking, though. When you see someone that talented it’s hard not to be reminded of how mediocre a lot of other things are. Every single time I’ve left a Blair show, I’ve made a comment about how I need to see that guy play more often.

Poetrynight Our sister organization, the Sue C Boynton Poetry Contest, now has their own Facebook page! Show 'em a little love... and keep watching this space for more information once the yearly contest starts!
From each year’s submissions (more than 250 in 2009), two judges select 10 Walk Awards and 15 Merit Awards. Walk Award poems are engraved and displayed for a year on the Sue Boynton Poetry Walk in front of the Bellingham Public Library; both Walk and Merit Award poems are handsomely designed, printed and displayed for ...a year inside Whatcom Transportation Authority buses that serve routes throughout the county. Winning poets are invited to read at a public awards ceremony in May. Judges change each year and are regionally recognized poets. The Sue Boynton Poetry Walk is one of the only permanent poetry installations in the U.S. The Sue C. Boynton Poetry Contest is a Whatcom Poetry Series 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
