Anything outside of Biblical standards of right and wrong is moral relativism. It's either "Thus saith the LORD" or someone's opinion. If you say someone is conservative because of his or her stance on selected issues, everyone may appear to be "conservative" on one or more subjects but may not have conservative values.

This is very interesting. Yes, the internet is making a difference in the way people think. And yet, I don't believe the "dumbing down" is as much an effect of the internet as it is of the changes in the way children are indoctrinated in the name of education. It's more of a spiritual shift away from godliness than it is an intellectual one.

Point of View Radio Talk Show Yesterday I talked about pornography in society. But what does the Bible say about this subject? Well, we should admit that there is no verse that says “Thou shalt not view pornography.” But we can come to that conclusion by applying a few key biblical principles...

According to a billboard on I-45 near Rice, there is a verse that says, "Stop the porn and be reborn." I forgot the scripture reference it gives. Obviously, it doesn't actually say those words.

"Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know mine integrity.
If my step hath turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any blot hath cleaved to mine hands;
Then let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring be rooted out.
If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour's door;
Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her.... See More
For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges.
For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase." Job 31:6-12

Very well stated and I agree. However, we also have to remember that not everyone has the advantage of godly parents or a neighborhood bus ministry and yet many people come to Christ later in life. It would be a shame if someone were to assume that there's no hope for them because they didn't get that good start in life. Ultimately, it's the ... See MoreHoly Spirit -- not human intervention -- that leads us to salvation. Also, many kids raised in godly homes still rebel and reject Christ. The parents usually are not to blame for this.

Homosexuality and abortion, two great sugarcoated lies pushed by elitists and very rich people so that "feeble-minded" and "inferiors" will never again reproduce, thus a way of birth control. Too bad so many have bought it, they actually think it's their right. tsk.
