Looks like Lamoreux is staying as the starter for a while. What a solid player he is. Also Ennis is good for at least a couple 'wow' moments every game

Justin, in all honesty Chris isn't too far off the mark when he says that Mark needs to use his size. Yeah Mark's getting good points, but a player his size should be using his body a lot more than what he does. He needs to play like a 6'4", 220 pound power forward, and not like a 5'11", 180 pound featherweight.

Wow, never would have dreamed Matt would have done that well in his first game returning to Portland.

As much as I notice that all you do is complain about the lack of intro (which are ovverated and irritating IMO), my issue is with the guy before. It just seemed really lame to troll like that after a nice win.

Great Game! One Theory on the low crowd was that with Kennedy already playing in Buffalo half of south Buffalo didn't show up this year like last year.

The novelty of the thing was gone, too. My idea is to lower the tickets to $5 and $10, to get the people in the building with the hopes that low ticket prices would influence people to bring their kids (ie. the same consumer might buy 4 tix instead of 2). When you bring the kids, sales of merchandise and concessions would increase. The only possible hole in my theory is that I don't know if the decrease in beer sales would offset increase in cotton candy, etc.

there really isn't much veteran leadership this year. good talent but hasn't come together yet....

there may have been 3258 tickets sold, but it looked like there were only 1500 people there.

quite the enjoyable game! The Pirates did a great job of working the puck out of the defensive zone, and J.P. was awesome in net.
