Oregon Culinary Institute *WEATHER ALERT* - OCI uses a website called Flash Alert to report the school status in regards to inclement weather. This will apply to professional program classes and weekend consumer classes, unless you are otherwise contacted via phone or email. Oregon Culinary Institute Our Baking and Pastry students and an alum (thanks Carrie!) made a massive "Bacon Boy" cake for the Children's Healing Art Project (CHAP) annual holiday dinner and auction. "The Adventures of Bacon Boy" is a comic about a superhero that was created by a child named Austin Winters. The cake was created in the image of... Bacon Boy. And yes, the cake actually had bacon in it.
