Don't forget to stop by emily-jane's annual holiday party this week on Wednesday, December 2nd from 6-9 PM. It is always a delight to see our most inspired collection of the year and our latest holiday ornament. This year's ornament is by far the most original and eclectic.
Each one-of-a-kind 2009 emily-jane holiday orn...ament (see sneak peak picture) has a vintage brass bell at the top, and a unique concoction of Swarovski® crystal and vintage brass elements hanging below. There are only forty of these special ornaments, and they will disappear in no-time at our holiday party: we're giving you a complimentary ornament of your choice ($40 value) with each purchase over $100. Come early to get first dibs on the best ones! In addition to this irresistible treat, we will have a stunning collection of our latest jewelry designs, a full bar and finger foods. Come to emily-jane to experience the magic of painted velvet jackets! Meet the artist, see her latest designs, and commission the velvet painting of your dreams! Juanita has been painting on velvet for over ten years and recently began painting on vintage velvet coats, broadening her scope to the fashion world. Her des...igns wrap around the coat to incorporate sleeves, lapels and pockets. Each coat is unique and hand painted with fabric paints and fabric glitter. All coats have been dry cleaned and are ready to wear.
Juanita's work, which ranges in subject matter from icons of culture to wonders of nature, has been commissioned by celebrities and featured in National Geographic Traveler, on HBO's "True Blood," OPB's "Oregon Art Beat," "The Tonight Show" and HGTV's "Offbeat America," to name a few.
Hors d'oeuvres, sweets, mimosas and wine will be served!
