Pottinger Photography Last Saturday we photographed Lauren and Todd’s beautiful wedding. This wedding was full of wonderful details everywhere you looked. It was fun to see the months of planning come together. One of the first things that I noticed was the fun flowers on the dining table. Katie from Katie Elfers Inspired Floral Design did ...an amazing job creating a flower girl purse! I want one of those now too! Lauren’s flower girl has great taste, she actually preferred her necklace over her doll bride gift at the rehearsal dinner so the flower purse idea was perfect for her. When we arrived at the hotel for photos, Lauren and Todd had a nice special moment to see each other and then we took the formal photos. We also got to sneak a peak of the transformation in progress of the ballroom. Their ceremony was at the grand St. Boniface Church. I could see why they were so excited to be married there and why Todd really wanted lots of fisheye photos! Since we were able to capture all of the formal photos before the ceremony, the bride and groom were able to be announced during their cocktail hour and get right into the fun of the reception. The ballroom at the Kingsgate Marriott looked stunning! Goodwin Lighting did a great job of setting the mood with all of their lights. I love how the cake by DessertWorks Cakery complimented the design of the bride’s dress. Once the party got started there was a ton of fun music thanks to Greg from Greg Lee Music. I loved watching the couple do their first dance together. It was nice to see them so happy together. Lauren and Todd, your wedding was beautiful and we are so glad we could be there to capture it for you. Todd I think we took plenty of great fisheye photos for you hehe! To their wonderful friends and family – thanks for being so nice to work with. It was so nice to meet you at the rehearsal dinner and to see you on the wedding day. And a special thanks to Jamie’s parents for recommending us (we photographed Jamie and Brian’s wedding in 2008).

Pottinger Photography Sneakers for shoes? I say yes! Sarah started the day with her sparkly sneakers. I love how comfortable she was and she could go anywhere for photos. We took most of the photos at The Madison South and just across the street. Since the weather was nice we couldn’t help but run outside for a few. This was one of my favor...ite parts of the day. You could just how much they enjoy being together! Their ceremony was upbeat and fun and lead by pastor Eastman. I love how proud Tom was to show off his ring! And it was neat how Sarah’s younger brother lead the Lord’s Prayer. After the ceremony we went over to Emerald Room for their reception. My favorite part of the reception was watching the bride’s parent’s serenade the couple with a song that they wrote (music and lyrics). That was a really emotional moment and I am glad we were there to capture it. It was a wonderful day with many beautiful moments.

Pottinger Photography Jamie and Luke had a wonderful wedding day. We started photographing Jamie and her girls as Michele from Hairspray was finishing up Jamie’s makeup. From there we went to Florence Christian Church to photograph the girls. Since the weather was nice we were able to go outside for a few photos in the courtyard garden at t...he church. The ceremony was beautiful. My favorite part was watching Jamie’s daughter sing. She did a beautiful job and wasn’t nervous at all. It was a really emotional moment. After the ceremony we photographed the bride and groom and then headed off to The Florentine Event Center for a fun filled reception. I loved how the bride and groom wore cute aprons and greeted all of their guests at the buffet by handing them a plate and saying hello! What a great way to see all of your guests – it was such a unique idea! Overall it was a wonderful wedding day and we wish Jamie and Luke all the best!
