The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center Join us for a special edition of Late Night at the Lehman Loeb. Enjoy refreshments in the Atrium as you listen to bass-baritone, Jon Roth. Roth will perform works by Haydn, Brahms, Chopin, and Debussy.

Jon Roth is a senior English major who finds a lot of time to sing on the side. A classically trained bass-baritone, he...'s most recently performed in Vassar's Opera Workshop and will be a soloist in the 10th annual Kingston community "Messiah" this January.

Pianist John Plotz has been playing piano since he was six. In addition to performing as a soloist, he has played in chamber music ensembles, and also has experience as a composer and accompanist. Last spring, he was the musical director of a Vassar student production of Hair and presented his senior recital.

The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center Inspired by Rothko? Moved by Martin?

In conjunction with the eighth annual Modfest, an annual campus-wide celebration of music, dance, and poetry of the past one hundred years, the Art Center is calling all poets to submit their original poems about works of art in the twentieth century galleries.

All submissions will ...be reviewed and the selected poems will be on labels alongside the work of art that inspired them throughout Modfest.

For more information, visit the Art Center or e-mail niroylance@vassar.edu.
