I remain very skeptical of this plan. If this was an established organization with funding in place, I would have no concerns, but here we have a group that no one has heard of and they have not announced where their funding is coming from. ...

if there is a plan to purchase the tower by another realty group, what are the (specific) plans for the building's development and how does it improve the surrounding economic and housing conditions? If they can answer that without just announcing that they're going to buy it, that might minimize the skepticism

With a mixture of Gothic, Victorian and Romanesque influences, it
rivals that of similar European cemeteries such as Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, France. Elmwood is the fi...nal resting place of many of Detroit's most legendary political figures. Grave stone rubbings will be offered!

Out of idle curiosity, why would sound city planning not accept the addition of a valuable mixed use along a major thoroughfare in a neighborhood that currently experiences a high crime rate due to it's zoning monoculture (mostly residential)? It seems that increasing utilization would be a boon to the community, as would the introduction of variety, value, and volume.
