∆ Kelly B., NYC based stylist and owner of fashion label "Princess of the Posse" is a vintage colle...ctor and thrift store addict. She put together "Piéce de Résistance" to offer up some of her finds.

When asked to put together and style a photoshoot for ACCLAIM mag (cover and “FLY GIRL” spread) I was more than excited and extremely honored! ACCLAIM mag is a reflection of contemporary culture from around the world. Published in Melbourne, Australia the talented crew features all unique content, reflecting all things... creating a buzz on street level.
"Every aspect of ACCLAIM is driven by style, integrity, and quality, something promised by the majority, but only delivered by a select few.”
After searching through many models, I found Ka’Neis and knew she was the one! I hit up my homie Steven Byron to do the photography, and super talented makeup artist Kim White was on board. Feeling inspired by dancehall for this shoot, I hollered at my boo Melinda, of HER Nails, told her my theme and she created the amazing nails you see here! I am so pleased with the end result... it’s very close to home for me.. literally we shot it all right here in my hood in Harlem! Alex from ACCLAIM describes the looks as “sweet as kool aid and hard as (acrylic) nails, a sentiment which carries on to the label.” Featuring all gear by P.O.P. mixed with vintage, as well as custom P.O.P. earrings by Good Wood, NYC.
On top of all this, the cover was extra special because it features artwork by Jeremeyville, internationally known, extremely talented artist, where he shows us his take on NYC.
Issue # 17 is on sale now in the states at Reed Space-NYC, Unsteady-San Diego and select Barnes & Noble stores.
