Unlike the “One Night Without a Home” annual camp outs, this event, hosted 10 days before National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, was not to call attention the plight of homelessness. It was to pay attention to people who are homeless.

Hello Debra,
The only way to see about a volunteer possibly visiting your son is to call our National Program Support Center at 1800-251-7411 to see if we currently have any ministry or volunteers serving at that prison. If so, we may be able to contact someone to request a visit. It may be however that we are not connected to anyone at that specific prison.

God bless

the system will allways keep your offender status unless you pay to get it exponged and that usually only happens if you got tall bucks but i guess i put that felony into my veins and the LABEL will allways be there ...I thank GOD that he forgives and those that have been forgiven in one way or another........unfortunatly.. DONT forgive and most of em need to be locked down aswell

So many people refuse to forgive felons. In effect, felons get life sentences. They might leave the jail, but they won't be able to get good jobs, if any job at all. Many churches don't allow felons to participate in volunteer activities, and people tend to shun felons, and ex criminals in general.

So what life do they have after prison? Poverty, exile, hatred, judgment. If people treat them this way, they are better off in prison, where at least they will get respect from their peers.

Jesus said If you are angry with someone, it is as bad as if you murdered them. Does a murderer have a right to look down on anyone?... Read More

How many wicked people have never been imprisoned? How many people commit legal atrocities daily?

If I was charged with all the awful, legal things I've done I would have a death sentence. How many others can say the same?

"Jewels for the Journey"

Murf served 21 years in prison in New York and Florida state prisons for the jewel heist and other serious crimes. In 1975 Jack met prison volunteers behind bars. It was that experience and a decision to follow Christ that changed Murf's life forever.
