when you're closing....remind them of the problems they told you they are having with their old mattress...back pain etc..........and say...you know, that's not going to get any better....why don't we get you sleeping better now.

After you have done all of the above that i had mentioned and they are closed(of course) you set the expectations for the customer i.e.(the mattress may feel a bit firmer when you first try it, you may feel discomfort, etc.. which is normal while adjusting to your new sleep system.) This will all play a big role in decreasing your satisfaction exchange percentages!

South Florida is starting to explode! A bit slow in the 3rd quarter but i still shined and managed to get promoted to manage a much better store just in time for the Labor Day sale event...ONLY AT MATTRESS GIANT!

Sleep # is where its at. Commissions on that is Killer. Id sell snow to an eskimo though!

Sleep # is a glorified air mattress, Air is definately not good for proper anatomical allignment!

My mattress sales have actually increased this year so far ! I think more people are staying home and much more sensitive to the issues of a poor or worn out one.

In some cases we are considered to be worse than used car salesmen. Try to maintain good customer service. People would rather buy from a friend. Someone they trust.
