Pretty interesting indeed, and right on the spot. In Malawi for instance, where I come from, the internet is so slow and yet so expensive. It takes forever to just download a 2mb pdf report. I remember having to use dial-up on my first job. With the proliferation of cellphones, broadband is the right way to go.

This is such a great and noble cause, thumbs up PCI. Coming from Malawi myself, I do understand how much important fishing is to the livelihoods of a greater part of the communities, especially those living along the lakeshore districts. With capture fisheries declining due to overfishing (resulting from increased demand for fish), the approach PCI... See More is taking is simply the best. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your organization's work once I go back to Malawi next summer. I will post a link to your cause on my blog. Keep up the good work

Jim, did you happen to see Oprah today? She had Joy Luck on from Heifer Int. and I missed that segment but did see part of the other stories about what is being done in Africa to help women become independent in the Congo and Zimbabwe. Makes me want to go and DO something!
