Darl Johnstonbaugh I can't wait to get my new pair of 47" x 14" x 14" hardware cases on Saturday at Dale's Drum Shop in Harrisburg, P.A. I am also picking up a pair of tom bags, one in 10" and one in 14" to supplement the other 6 PR bags I already own. So unfortunately I put food inside of my cymbal bag, since I had no other place to put it (I regret this decision to this day...), and I ended up forgetting about it for about a week, and now the inside white soft protective area of the cymbal bag smells like rotten food. (there aren't any stains, it just smells pretty... bad; the cymbals are fine!) Is the inside part safe to wash in cold/warm/hot water? I don't have the tags that were on the bag anymore, so I can't really check to see if they're there.Read More

Oh Dear Wen, that was a bad idea :-( yes the Protection Racket cases are totally washable just don't use bleach or any hard nose detergent!!! Good luck washing and getting those smells out - you should see the state of my drum mat it has it's own eco system!! Thanks Dean

Tobias Hey Guys,

i bought a drum mat, but unlike the one id seen in shop and one my mate has, it doesnt have the rubber grip on the bottom. For the most part its fine but on a few gigs, ive actually had some fun surfing about on it mid gig. as fun as that has been.
did i get a duff mat or is this a different product?

Hey Tobias, give me a call anytime on 01208 815055 or mail me at dean@protectionracket.co.uk. We haven't changed the drum mat design and this is the first I have heard of this. Simple physics dictate that if you have a drum kit set up on a piece of 6 x 5 mat and you are also sitting on it, it should be impossible for it to slide at all unless you are playing on ice and someone is pushing you from behind?!! Yep Deano, must be about 1998 or 1999 when I got them, Wembley Drum Centre with my Yammy Beech Custom( which I still have).That's a sign of good product,10 years of being thrown in and out of cars and clubs and they're still going strong.

Carl Clark HI i am just wondering..... I have just bought a PR HArdware case and the wheels on it are not inline skate wheels (as even advertised on the leaflets attached to the case) I don't know if these are old wheel or new wheels. Are these the wheels I should have??? Thanks!!

Hey Carl, yes these are the new wheels - apologies, we haven't updated the website or the brohures with new pictures yet. We went over to these new wheels for extra stability, strength and they can also be replaced should they fail, something that couldbn't be done with the old units...these are a major improvement honest!!
