This year's annual alumni reception is being held at The Standard..., Downtown LA on the famous rooftop pool deck. "If the height doesn't make you dizzy, the scene will" Conde Nast Traveler.
A special thanks goes out to Christopher Biondo '05 at The Standard for hosting this event! Complimentary heavy appetizers and a cash bar will be available. Valet parking at The Standard is available for $15.

It is time once again for the annual Rocky Mountain Holiday Alumni Reception.
This year we are shaking it up a bit! Not only will you be able to catch up with fellow alumni and hear about what is happening at JWU, we will be presenting new alumni awards to those alumni who have gone above and beyond in service to the u...niversity.
Denver Campus President Bette Matkowski as well as Dean of Academics Dr. Richard Wiscott will be in attendance. The Student Alumni Association will also be in attendance helping to run the event and tell you about the great strides they have made to increase awareness of alumni achievements on the Denver Campus.
Complimentary heavy hors d'ouevres will be served and a cash bar will be available with beer for $5.50 and premium wine topping out at $8.25 per glass.The Colorado Convention Center provides onsite parking in their attached 1,000 space parking garage for $12. Another less expensive alternative is to ride the Light Rail to the Denver Convention Center as there is a stop located directly outside of the event venue. Metered street parking is also available on a first come fist served basis.

The men’s basketball team will kickoff their season hosting Johnson & Wales University's North Miami campus on Friday, November 6 at 7pm. In honor of this, the Wildcats welcome back JWU alumni to the newly renovated Wildcat Center which seats 550 and provides ample space for varsity, intramural and recreational program...ming in the facility.
Prior to tipoff, the university will be holding a chili dinner tailgate party from 5-7pm. The dinner is free for JWU alumni. All others will be charged $6 at the door to attend the game. There will also be several VIP university guests in attendance, including athletic coaches from the other 4 campuses.
Men’s Basketball is coming back from a stellar year that saw them capture their first Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference Championship as well as their second appearance in the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Tournament in just their 7th year. The team brings back a solid core of players losing just 2 seniors and welcomes fresh faces among its transfers and freshmen. Your Wildcats are looking forward to the season ahead of them that features a schedule with opponents spanning from NCAA Division I to NAIA Division II. The 'Cats are pleased to also have been selected to host the 2010 A.I.I. Conference Championship to be held February 26 and 27 at the Wildcat Center.
