NO WAY!!!!! 160,000 dollars to fund a sculpted trooper who is to resemble a "knight in shining armour"?? we have no health insurance and people are sleeping outside but this is where the money is deemed to go?? Where is my trustful servant, the governor? sire, might you depart for me peoples' cause and bear us such brevity and chivalry to bring these funds where they are most needed?
Nay,do I hear such foolishness from your podium?
ha! so much for ethical standards in government

I can only hope this is because of the mandated 1% expenditure on the arts... because if it isn't, I agree that the money could be better spent.

I hear you and it might be the 1% which should certainly be put on hold during these times but...Check with your Federal Govt. They have just allotted more money for the "Arts" I believe this money is filtered to us through the RISCA. I could be wrong but I just heard there was more money out there on the news.
I think the Cowardly Lions of ... Read Morethe General Assembly have shown their true colors with their summer recess turning into their (dare I say) Chrisrtmas break. I don't solely blame the Gov...just vote for NO INCUMBENTS in future and see if we can't turn this whole mess around!
