Friends and Neighbors:

WE NEED YOU! On Saturday, June 6th we will be holding our annual Paint Your Heart Out in the Joaquin Neighborhood. It will start with sign in at 8am at Farrer Elementary (south side--pavill...ion) where you can grab some donuts and juice. Then we'll be off to our worksites. We have 2 homes that need to get a facelift. They are big, and historic, and when we are all done, they will be beautiful.

Please bring your friends, family, etc. Youth groups are welcome.

NOTE: there are also some extremely important Public Hearings on the city's budget -- proposed of $143 Million for this next year. If you care about where your tax dollars are going... -- you'll want to pay attention! :)

Provo Citizens.net The city council staff publicly announced this Public Hearing only a few hours ago!!! They're having a big hearing on exactly what type of Parking Permit Fees they'll add for the area south of campus from 500 N. down to Center St!

Please come and speak out if you can.

The MAIN issue is renters have to pay for a permit ...but owner occupants get the first permit for free -- these double standards have to stop!!!

Email COUNCIL1@PROVO.UTAH.GOV if you think these two sets of rules are unfair. Whatever you email there will get distributed to all 7 city council members -- thanks!

And RSVP if you can come to any part of the meeting -- check out Channel 1 or Channel 17 to see where we are in the meeting if you can only come for a short time.

Thanks!

If you can't come, please, please, please at least email the council about it -- thanks!

** P.S. Help spread the word too -- please share this Event with any Facebook friends in Provo! Thanks! **

P.P.S. For the rest of the agenda -- there's some other very important Hearings too -- please see http://www.utah.gov/pmn/sitemap/notice/13007.html
