A nonprofit organization working to increase research on psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, as well as improve public understanding of the disease.
Mission:
Our motto, “Research…Access to Treatments…Cure,” sums up our mission. Psoriasis Cure Now seeks to accelerate research on psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. We are working to improve patient access to treatments. We strive to educate patients, opinion leaders and the general public about the seriousness of psoriasis, to improve understanding, reduce stigma, and mobilize the patient community. Our ultimate goal is to speed discovery of a cure for psoriatic disease.

I just went to a local elementary school and talked to two little kids, one has psoriasis and one has eczema. I also talked to the teacher who was very excited to see the information on the Psoriasis Cure Now web page for teachers and children going back to school. She printed out the pages for the children's parents to read. I gave the teacher my Psoriasis Cure Now calender to hang in her class. She was very excited and so was I!!!!

Short Sleeve Days--right now! September 12-14, 2008. Please take some time this weekend to educate people about the seriousness of psoriasis. Perhaps email your friends and ask them to sign our letter to Congress about research funding, it's on our website: http://www.psoriasis-cure-now.org . And if you have psoriasis and can expose it in a family-friendly manner (!), show some skin this weekend! Do it for those who are not yet comfortable doing so. Thanks!

Well I don't think i have it as bad as you guy's..Mainly i get it on my head..that is bad but i have to be really stressed to get it anywhere else..If i do it is my toe, which sounds ok but make my shoes hurt!!!..Or i have had it on my elbows and back of my legs..i am glad i don't get really bad outbreaks!!
