This movie is now my favorite movie ever! I absolutely love the bird references: Marion CRANE, PHOENIX Arizona, the bird pictures in the hotel room, the taxidermy.....it is brilliant!!!! also love the significance of shots, and my favourite part of the movie being the whole ending sequence. Love the little transition at the end showing the skeleton of him mother, with the chain pulling the car out, over his face!!!! SO COOL! WATCH THIS MOVIE!

This movie is amazing. I saw it with all my friends, and we thought it was really scary. The acting is the real old 60's act. The movie has the classic bathroom scene, where she is in the shower, you can see a shadow walking into the motel bathroom, and suddenlly the shower curtains get pulled away, and you hear her scream and that "DA, DA, DA, DU. I liked that scene. The story is also very good. It is about this lady, she is a banker, she works in a bank. She gets this mission to deliver $750000 i think. She desides to steal the money and run away. It gets late a day, she stops at this little motel not so long from the highway. The owner is very nice and a gentleman, and lives in a house with his mom right besides the motel. Later at the night she takes a shower, you know what happens there. He comes in to the room and sees her corpse. He blamed the mother for the murder. He takes his car and pushes it down in a swamp with the money in the back of the car. Detectives search the money case and finds out that she stopped at the motel. They talks to the owner and he give them nothing but lies. The owner tells them that he lives with his mother, they search the house, and they thought they found the mother down in the basement. But there was nothing but a skeleton. This is a great b&w movie and a classic. watch it
