I haven't changed my routine yet but I am definately wondering if I should. I do an outside fitness boot camp that is intense and includes running. I am doing IVF at the end of December. I think I am going to only do 2-3 hours of boot camp a week and fill in with more yoga.

With your upcoming IVF we would definitely recommend that you stick to moderate intensity (heart rate at about 60-65% of max)/low impact exercise. For your boot camp, you can walk instead of run and still get a lot of benefit and camraderie. Of course we're a fan of the yoga too. One thing we recommend is that you add at least 15 minutes of ... Training your body to relax may be the most overlooked part of our fertility fitness routine. Sounds like you're on your way to good things...Best of luck in December!

The fertility clinic I use (Shady Grove Fertility) is nothing if not conventional. Now don't get me wrong...I'm not knocking them. But as a natural health, holistic-minded person, the idea of surgery and medication to get pregnant tells you just how far I am willing to go to be a mother.

Interesting research in the October issue of Fertility and Sterility suggests that women who cope with the stresses of infertility treatment by "letting go" may have better outcomes with IVF. Cleanse the Body is the session you're thinking about. The massage is designed to really move body fluids, facilitate lymph drainage and release tight musculature. Also,I would suggest the ART Recovery/Prep program, our healing diet/cleanse program prior to getting started again. For more info, just call the SG office and they'll answer your questions. Good luck Lori!
