Xinmin Yu hi, I'm a new PhD student in this fall 2009, and I'm about to arrive on 11pm, 5th Aug. I'd like to know if I could ask my roommate, who would arrive on Aug 3rd, to pick up all the keys so that I could get in right after my arrival? My apartment is in Steptoe. Thx!

OISS New Student Orientation at WSU Andrey...the orientations for graduate students from OISS and your department should not conflict too much. We have been working closely with the Grad School and will be coordinating with them on August 17 & 18. OISS will leave most of August 19-21 open for your departmental orientation. Please be prepared to start orientation on August 17th. We will give you the schedule for the week on that day. See you soon!
Andrey Perevalov I've been admitted to WSU as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant. In addition to orientation for international students I'll have to recieve training for Teaching Assistants held by Dept. of Physics and Astronomy. Won't schedules of these events interfere?
OISS New Student Orientation at WSU Hi Meng....currently, the schedule is showing only 2 flights each day on August 15 & 16. We will have Orientation Assistants and all flights on both of those days to pick up new students from the airport.

Simon Guo Hi there. I am a newly admitted graduate student for WSU from China. It's really great that I got the news you could pick students up at pullman airport on August 15th and 16th.Thank you for your kind behavoir. But there is a problem for me. The direct flight from Beijing to Seattle arrives at Seattle at 11:45AM, and this flight is once every week (7th August or 14th August), so I could only take the seattle-pullman flight to arrive Pullman at 11:30PM on 14th August, or I should stay one more night in Seattle, which it is really inconvinent. So I wonder whether it is possible that maybe you could kindly pick me up at pullman airport at the late night on August 14th. Could you please give me a hand? Thanks a lot!!!

OISS New Student Orientation at WSU Hi Behrang.....unfortunately there is nothing we can do to help expedite your visa. You will simply need to let the visa process run it's course. If you still don't have your visa by early August, please contact Wakana Ackerman, wakana@wsu.edu. She is one of our International Student Advisors and will be able to with the options for late-arrival or deferring admission if necessary.

OISS New Student Orientation at WSU Hi Fang Guo...congratulations on your acceptance to WSU. Orientation is scheduled for August 17-21. It is mandatory, so please make arrangements to be in Pullman no later than August 16. The orientation will include academic sessions, immigration session, information session, peer mentor groups, placement tests, food, and much more.

The Grad Check-in is located at the Smith CUE 203. The orientation schedule is not posted online. YOu will get a copy when you check-in on the 6th.
