Serenity is animate...Definition..(having Life)..look at her...she looks as if she could turn her head and talk to you...That's the beauty of her design and purpose....

Steven Malen

Steven Malen So, QMX folks, is there any chance that you might get licenses for other larger scale ships? My MR Enterprise could sure use a friend (or adversary). Some other items on my ultimate wish list: An original BSG series Battlestar and/or Cylon Base ship, an STNG galaxy class Enterprise, and while you're at it, a 3-4 ft long Star Destroyer. Christmas is coming, you know. ;)

Oh, I will probably buy that too, but I have alot more attachment to the other ships. I know its all about how many they can sell, but I would think there would be others interested in the some of the same items I mentioned. I have no idea how much work would be involved in reproducing a classic Battlestar. The original model was incredibly ... Read Moredetailed. Far more complicated than the Enterprise. I just don't know if QMX could handle it (taunt, taunt). Actually its probably more like I don't know if we could handle the required price tag. But what a piece that would be.

Steven Malen I just got notifcation that something weighing 23 lbs is on its way to me. I'm guessing its something "big" and "damn". Time to clear some display space. :)

Steven - that's not us, it's eFX. You'd have to ask them why they chose to go that route. Personally, I'd do the refit E in studio scale before anything else. Then the D-7 ;-)

Ohh.. right. Sorry. For some reason I get the two companies confused. Acronyms may not be my bag, baby. :)
But, that said, I like the way you think.

Hi Anthony - first chapter is done and is undergoing extensive peer review right now. The chapter contains an entire caper, so is rather long (~10k words). Want to give it a rest, gather up all the feedback, and then maybe post it as a holiday gift for all Browncoats.

Hi David! We're still hard at work on it. The sculpt is done, but the first paint master just wasn't good enough. So we have the same team that designed the BigE working on the Collector's Scale. They've completed their take on the paint master and – no surprise – it's much nicer. Hope to have pics soon. And hope you all will be pleasantly surprised by the results :-)

liking it so far. not an sg regular, so don't know how it feels compared to the rest, but i like the hard sf feel of this one, minus the overdone petulant dramatic conflicts. but every step feels like a new discovery for the team, looking forward to more.
