WHEN Nathan Scicluna hurries into the studio to greet us, the 24-year-old is extremely polite, extremely professional and just a bit nervous.

PASSION and practice mean nothing to Queensland Ballet dancer Lisa Edwards without perseverance.

Lynette Josephine Denny
What a wonderful trip all of the QB supporters had in Europe. The highlights for me were listening to the applause of the standing ovations at the end of the performances. It really made one even more proud of our State company. Congratulations to all of the company, who are undoubtedly wonderful ambassadors for Queen...sland, and indeed Australia. The ability of the dancers to adapt quickly to the different performance circumstances, and their excellent PR skills at the functions afterwards are indeed most commendable. Congratulations also to Francois for the integrity of his leadership, to Robyn Klaus for her inimitable attention to detail, to Judith for her unfailing energy and commitment to the company, and by no means least to Robyn Franke, our tour leader, who left no stone unturned to ensure our enjoyment of the trip.
I am sure she was looking forward to a well earned rest by the end of the tour!
Well done all!

Queensland Ballet is busy, busy, busy! Rehearsals, fittings, photoshoots.... It's all part of The Sleeping Beauty preperations.
