ROBBIE FRY PHOTOGRAPHY Part1:An edited reply to a compliment: 'Live first then become a photographer' Something I read in a book re interviews with contemporary photographers really struck a cord! I had 50 different types of jobs by the time I was 30! I also went to Art College - appreciation of painting etc crucial: particularly Vermeer for... light+composition; Edward Hopper for composition+color + Rodin is my favorite sculptor.
ROBBIE FRY PHOTOGRAPHY Part2: To me photography is 85% art + 15% technical. I do not really get a buz from technology for the sake of technology. So p'graphers go ooh+ahh over sharpness + so on but hey! does the image rock my boat!? I'm happy to answer Qs on my wall or comments that are left under images.
