At the very least maybe you could get them to communicate again. It will be difficult to rear 8 children in the best of circumstances but when the parents no longer speak how will the children cope? They need to find common ground where they can function as parents not not as former spouses.

You may have to take Pittsburgh off the list of Chabad schools that do a good job of teaching secular studies. It seems thay are phasing English from the pre-school next year. What will come after that?
