Rainbow Wildlife Rescue If they would only put 10% of the effort they put into promoting killing innocent animals into wildlife rehabilitation, Texas would be a better place. As much as I am trying to accept the fact that there is nothing I can do about these people getting a kick out of killing under the cover of "management" and "sport" and... "culture", it's still making me sick to the bone! Especially when I get the orphaned babies because they don't bother to make sure that the babies are old enough to make it on their own.

Trust in ourselves, that we together WILL make the difference. Regardless of how many others share their misguided opinions.
One person at a time for as long as it takes. My kids are 20,18,&17, and I have raised them to appriciate nature an...d everything in it. I speak to my neices and nephews and young cousins. They care, they know right from wrong, they understand hunting is ok if you are going to consume the animal killed, not just to kill. They have friends too and they talk about it.... One person at a time....See More

          • Slaphappy Pappy Ya just gotta love how hunters changed the word r 'Murder' for 'Management.' It makes it sound so much more benign and practical. Doesn't it?

Rainbow Wildlife Rescue to all East Coast Rehabbers: Please send me your contact information! If Earl is anywhere near as mean as Ike, thousands of orphaned squirrels will be washed up. My squirrel rescue is #1 on Google and I have the feeling I will receive tons of calls if that happens. I want to be prepared and able to get these people help!

            • Vicki Knutsen Isn't that amazing? We moved our babies around at the center yesterday. There were 15 in one enclosure and we wanted to move 7 out. We knew exactly which ones were going because they do all look different. They each have their own special personality too. Very cool little animals! I love em!!
