On August 23, 2008 the annual Service NC State Event took on a new form. We were part of Stop Hunger Now’s University Million Meals Event. In 8 hours, 4000 students at three host university sites came together to package over 1 million meals! Check out the video highlighting this amazing achievement!

queen and king contest and recognizes students who make outstanding
contributions to NC State in the areas of leadership, scholarship, and
community service.

CSLEPS hosted a Stop Hunger Now fundraiser where packaged rice-soy meals were served to raise awareness about hunger around the world. Proceeds from the event will support Service NC State and the University Million Meal Event.
The UMME is a week-long event is designed to package one million meals for school lunch feeding programs around the world.
