The Red Tie Campaign was created in memory of NC Insurance Commissioner Jim Long by his family and Rex Healthcare after Commissioner Long passed away as the result of a stroke last year. Through the Red Tie Campaign, we want to create hope that, together, we can prevent stroke.

NC Department of Insurance Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin signed the 2009 workers compensation settlement on Oct. 30, 2009. The settlement potentially saves employers more than $120 million.
