ORONDE ASH

ORONDE ASH Thanks to the folks who have become fans. Bring some others along. For those who don't know, I am an author/educator, social entrepreneur. The reasons why are foretold in my new book 17 to Life: A Black Boy Memoir. Follow the link below. Buy the book, read the book, ask a friend to do the same. I want to see how far Fa...cebook can carry this project... this idea. If Barrack can usher in change, so can I.

ORONDE ASH ORONDE ASKS FACEBOOK FRIENDS TO HELP PROMOTE BOOK

I worked on my new book, 17 to Life: A Black Boy Memoir, for 17 years before I felt comfortable publishing. I published it about a month ago. I don't have the money for large scale advertising. Using social networks is my only means of promotion until book sales generate... excess money to do more marketing. There's NOT a publisher sending me free copies of the book. I buy copies from the printer and I sell them to people I know, one book at a time. This is the way it works for most authors. We do everything ourselves until people... AHEM... start catching on. The book will be available on AMAZON in mid November. For now, YOU BUY COPIES online at the link below. The printer will ship a copy directly to you, just like buying anything else online.

I have close to 400 friends on Facebook who each have a few hundred more friends. IF EACH OF YOU buy a copy, maybe 17 to Life: A Black Boy Memoir will get some local or national attention and I can be on my way as a writer. If you don't want to buy the paperback for $17.80, buy the E-Book for$5. At least the printer will know people are interested. If there's interest, the printer will help promote the book more because they want money too, right?

Go to the link below, BUY the book, read the book, tell a friend to do the same. I've written America's first post-racial black boy memoir. I've written a book that will transform lives. I know that. Read the book and that fact will become clear.

Friends, 17 to Life needs your love and attention. It needs the kind of grassroots, peer to peer, friend to friend, human being to human being movement Facebook was designed for. Help me get this done. Help me get my story out there. Help me sell 500 copies by Christmas 2009. Help me transform lives by opening my own story to the world.

Thank you.

PS If you haven't bought a book then sales are NOT going well.
