Ray Johnston Band Interview with Jason Mraz was great. HUMBLE CHILL guy. We played "katie" together, talked life, surfing, avacado's, songwriting, why he wrote the song The Remedy, and was just a great dude. Tomorrow morning I'll be with Mraz, Rob Thomas, & Colbie Colette at a hospital singing to the kids. Christmas in NYC...and Mom is here too!
Ray Johnston Band Going to New York City to hang with my awesome Mom and meet Jason Mraz Sunday! Mraz's song "the remedy" was written about a friend of his that battled cancer. HDnet has lined up an interview with Jason & I. Looking fwd to meeting him in the Big Apple.

Very nice bar where we played a very spirited and tipsy holiday, scratch that-CHRISTMAS party. Ole Derek Holland is the host and he All-READY! 9pm thursday Dec 17 @ four lounge. DO IT!

Ray Johnston Band RJB back in Dallas. Fall 2009 tour is complete. WHat an experience and met lots of good folks along the way. Playing some Christmas parties in Dallas. All leading up to the celebration of Jesus bday!
Ray Johnston Band Left Nashville headed back to Dallas. Best tour leg we have had as a band. Met with SOny, This publishing, Rack N Roll Studios who recorded us live in ATL Dec 5, 09, writer James Slater, and my bone marrow donor. Had great show at 12th & Porter Tues night to close out great last tour leg of 2009. Onto Dallas for christ...mas party shows and some down time to soak in a great last 13 days. Love this time of year
