The RHS Chamber Singers is an ensemble, chosen by audition, of twenty singers ranging from grades ten through twelve. The music performed by this small ensemble ranges from a cappella madrigals to contemporary vocal ensemble literature. Each of these singers is an integral part of the larger Concert Choir at Reading ...High. The Chamber Singers rehearse weekly for only two hours as an ensemble. In addition, students are expected to review and spend time on their own working with the musical selections. Many of these talented students have participated in the County, District, Regional, and even All-State Choir Festivals. In addition, most of these young scholars are academically in the top tenth percentile of their classes.
