Reading is one of the premier hockey clubs in the country. Winner of the Reading Club of the Year Award, the hockey club enjoys a high profile throught the national and local media. With two elite teams in the English Hockey League the club’s playing representatives cover the length of the country. The club runs 12 mens teams, 7 ladies teams and has a flourishing Next Generation junior section. The club has over 300 senior and 120 junior members and is based at a top class facility in Sonning Lane.

A mahoosive congratulations to Reading U18 Girls who finished an amazing 3rd in the National Cup Finals :o) Clocking up a rather scary 475 miles on the road to the finals, with every game being an away game, scoring 39 goals & conceeding 12 with girls from all 7 Ladies teams playing at some point...


Reading’s U13 girls completed a highly successful season by beating local rivals Wallingford 3-2 at Surbiton on Saturday to secure 3rd place in the 2009 South Minis Championships...


The Dirty 2s finished the Trysports Three Counties Premier 1 League on 43 points in 5th place overall, a mere 10 points shy of the top place, and a somewhat disappointing result considering we were sitting pretty at the top of the table until mid-February...


Awwwwww we love this club!!! It’s been a great season and a great night celebrating the many highs and the odd low of this season. It’s been full of great hockey, individual commitment, team spirit and most of all lots and lots of fun...


So it’s our big night out - the big finale to the season (for most of us except the Mens 1s, Ladies 1s and Girls U18s obviously who are haven’t managed to complete their season before the end of season dinner). If you aren’t at the club later you are missing out...
