RealTown Real Estate Network The Night Before Christmas-- "Revisited"

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the land,
Not a buyer was stirring, not woman nor man.
The signs were all hung in the yards with great care,
In hopes that the buyers soon would be there....

RealTown Real Estate Network Is anyone using Google Wave?

A member asks...
"I'm about to start trying out Google Wave. Is anyone else using this technology?… I wonder if Google Wave can or will be used to publish content to a website or whether it will just be a independent Google application. It seems like the technology would be extremely valuable... if it could be integrated into a personal website."

"How would you advice an 80 year old home owner who bought a home in the last 3 years and now has a mortgage that she can no longer afford. She has tried to get a loan modification but has been told that she does not qualify because she is not behind in her payments. There ...is no way she can continue to pay the mortgage... Unfortunately, she owes more than it's current value."

I am curious too as to how she got that mortgage in the first place. She bought a house at the age of 77??? It can't be a reverse as there are no monthly payments in reverse and you can't buy a property using a reverse mortgage...At this age my best advice would be to sell the house....buy a new one which is within her budget. At the age of 80, i wouldn't want to fight with the mortgage companies to reduce my payments.
