Personal Information:: Currently the Sideline Reporter for the Portland Trail Blazers, sports broadcaster for Big Ten Network in Chicago, and host for Fox Sports Net (FSN) in Los Angeles, Rebecca Haarlow loves the constant challenge of broadcasting live television in many different sports. Haarlow began her professional career working for ABC in San Francisco, Silicon Valley Sports & Entertainment, and reporting on the Sacramento Kings for Foothill 7 television. An athlete herself, the rush of competition and the demands of preparing for a different game every night had Haarlow hooked on sports broadcasting from day one.

Currently one of the youngest broadcasters in the NBA, Haarlow works home and road games for the Trail Blazers, bringing stats to life and informing viewers what the players and coaches are doing on and off the basketball court. One of the Big Ten Networks initial hires, Haarlow is in her second season as a college football sideline reporter and broadcaster for other NCAA sports like softball and track and field. Despite her busy broadcast schedule in the United States, she has also found time to travel to Australia with FSN, as a host of the Aussie Millions poker tournament.

Haarlow grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where she was an avid Bulls and Cubs fan and competed in soccer, gymnastics, diving and track and field. After placing third in triple jump on the national level, Haarlow attended Princeton University, where she won the Ivy League Heptathlon championship as a freshman. Later elected captain of the Princeton Track & Field team, Haarlow studied American History with an emphasis on the Civil War, joined Kappa Alpha Theta and Tiger Inn Club.
