Recycle Your Faith Ask questions in faith and you’ll be marginalized by Christians. Believe in truth and you’ll be marginalized by non-Christians.

Wes calls this common area between believers and non-believers “The Critical Zone“. As I listen to Wes, it makes me think about those of you watching these clips each week on Recycle Your Faith. I would guess that a lot of you fit into this “critical zone”. ...

Recycle Your Faith New Clip: Several years ago Eugene and his wife decided to give an entire year’s wages to help fight poverty. It was more difficult than they imagined.

Since Christmas is right around the corner I thought it might be appropriate the next few weeks to highlight stories of people working to make the world a better place. This week’s story is from a guy I met in Seattle a few weeks back, Eugene Cho.

Recycle Your Faith New Clip: Dave’s love for Mormons wasn’t very well received until he learned to communicate on the same wavelength. This required him to become a little less analytical and a little more romantic.

www.recycleyourfaith.com
I had a delightful conversation last month with Dave Rowe, the author of I [heart] Mormons: A New Way to Share Christ with Latter-day Saints. Dave is among a handful of people who’ve demonstrated to me (not just talked about) an ability to set aside differences in theology to relate at a human level...

Renee Hey People! I found you through blogger and Pam H's cussing video. I like what you're all doing, I think its great.
As far as beliefs go, my personal philosophy is not everything can be recycled, so don't forget to throw out the trash!

Love you all,
Renee

Steve Bell Recycle Your Faith's clips and interviews are really inspiring to me. It's good to know there are media-producers around with malleable worldviews who are investigating... well, investigation, I guess. My favourite clip this far is your Bart Campolo one.

I'm doing something quite different, but similar, in many ways, ...called 'Popology', or 'music reviews, on a deeper level'. I'm keen to offer you some facebook synergy by sharing some of Recycle Your Faith's video clips on my Popology 'fan page' if you like (you can search for it on Facebook, or visit www.popology.net), in the hope you might share some of mine, and maybe our fans will cross-pollinate...?

Recycle Your Faith I saw a really wonderful Coen Brothers movie last night called "A Serious Man". One scene I particularly loved was about not having all of the answers in faith. If you like the Coen bros other films (Fargo, O' Brother Where Art Thou, No Country for Old Men) then I'd definitely recommend!

“A Serious Man” is the story of an ordinary man’s search for clarity in a universe where Jefferson Airplane is on the radio and “F-Troop” is on TV. It is 1967, and Larry ...

Recycle Your Faith What a great week of interviews in Portland! Pam Hogeweide told me about how she feels comfortable saying "fuck" in church, Todd & Angie Fadel shared their thoughts about the "w" word (worship), and all Jesse Rice did the whole interview was update his facebook status (he wrote a book called "The Church of Facebook").

Recycle Your Faith New Clip: Church Alumni

www.recycleyourfaith.com
I met Chad for the first time last week in Boise. Great guy, I really enjoyed chatting with him. About a year and a half ago Chad joined the ranks of the church alumni. Once a pastor at a large church, but he no longer sees value in church like he used to. Chad is not alone.
