Red Wolf Coalition Another summer howling season came to a close last night. Thank you to the red wolves for a "perfect" (12-12) howling season. I am grateful to the hundreds of people that spent time with us to learn about the red wolf program. Thanks to Diane for her dedication to the program and her participation each week. We have three special howlings left this year, so check out our website and come howling with us.

Thursday AM howling report...the wolves did howl and we heard the puppies howl for the first time! Those 5-month-olds were loud and clear. We heard them start the howling and they kept on howling after the adults finished. This was my first time hearing red wolf puppies howl, so even this old wolf nanny got excited. Th...e sky was painted with beautiful stars last night. Wolves & stars...all we needed were some bears!Read More

Red Wolf Coalition HOWL!!!!!!! If red wolves could talk, they would say "Thank You" for making the Coalition's summer fundraising appeal our most successful to date. Your support of red wolf conservation is an inspiration to all of us that work hard to ensure that "Canis rufus" continues to have a strong voice. Thank you also to the hundreds of people that have made this a great howling season!
